You will receive your order after the festival period.
- Customer
A “Customer” is any person or company who purchases Products for non‐professional purposes via the Website. By going through the sales process and placing the order, the Customer confirms that he has the necessary capacity to conclude this purchase or that he has at least the authorization of his tutor.
- Products
These General Terms and Conditions apply both to the purchase of cinema tickets and to other activities within the framework of the festival via the BIFFF online ticket office. All products are collectively referred to hereinafter as “the Products”. If one of the conditions applies only to a specific group of products, this is explicitly mentioned.
- Website
The Website refers to the BIFFF website (www.littleshop.bifff.net). The terms and conditions of use of the Website are set out on the website in the “GDPR” section.
- Sale
The sale is managed by the non‐profit association “BIFFF” whose registered office is located at rue de la Comtesse de Flandre/Gravin van Vlaanderenstraat 8, 1020 Brussels, VAT number BE.431.844.988. In the event of complaints, questions or problems concerning the purchase of Products, the Customer may contact the BIFFF via the address littleshop@bifff.net.
- Product information
All information relating to the Products is recorded on the Website, in particular the prices at the time of purchase, information relating to programming when purchasing Tickets, the period of validity and other conditions of use which are linked to the Products. The prices mentioned include all costs related to the purchase and use of the Products, unless otherwise expressly stated on the Website. Information relating to the use of the Products may also be repeated on the purchase confirmation document and admission ticket received by the Customer. Each use of the Products is also subject to the festival’s internal regulations.
- Sales process
The Customer may purchase the Products on the Website, where he must go through the various stages of the purchase process, including indicating the Products and the desired quantity, going through the payment process, and completing the personal data necessary to receive the purchase confirmation and admission ticket. Each step of the sales process is explained on the Website. The Customer has the possibility to check his order and correct it before making the payment. The Customer will have the opportunity to read these General Terms and Conditions of Sale and the privacy statement at the time of purchase. The purchase of Products implies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and the privacy statement.
- Payment of payment
Products can be paid for using the online payment methods available on the Website. The Customer himself assumes the costs that the financial institution charges the Customer for the transfer of the purchase amount. If the Customer purchases a product at the reduced rate as communicated on the Website, BIFFF reserves the right to request supporting documents in order to verify the Customer’s right to the reduced rate. All purchases must be paid immediately. BIFFF reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order in the event of indications of fraud.
- Electronic delivery
Unless explicitly stated otherwise on the Website, the delivery of the Products is always made electronically, for example by sending the purchase confirmation to the e‐mail address provided by the Customer. The Customer is responsible for the validity of the e‐mail address he himself has provided. He must himself ensure the operation and security of the messaging program he uses to receive the Products. The risk of loss of Products sent electronically passes to the Customer as soon as the e‐mail has been delivered to the Customer’s provider. It is the Customer’s responsibility to keep this e‐mail message. If the Customer does not receive an e‐mail with the confirmation of the purchase of the ordered Products, he may contact the BIFFF at the e‐mail address mentioned in article 4 of these conditions. As soon as we have confirmation via our payment platform, the admission ticket(s) will be sent to your e-mail address. The entry document must be printed and presented at the checkpoints in order to access the screening rooms.
- Right of withdrawal
When purchasing Tickets and therefore booking tickets for a specific cinema screening or for a special event, the Customer does not have the right to cancel. Tickets are also not exchangeable.
- Responsibility
The BIFFF guarantees that the Products have the characteristics mentioned on the Website. A refund is only possible in one case: when the Customer does not receive the purchased Products (at the indicated e-mail address) at the latest the day before the screening due to a technical problem on the Website. In this specific case, the BIFFF will refund the purchased Products within a maximum of 30 days. The BIFFF’s liability is limited in all cases to the value of the purchased Products. However, the Customer remains responsible for any errors made in the purchasing process, such as the indication of an incorrect e‐mail address or the incorrect indication of the quantity of Products or the characteristics of the Products (e. g. choice of film, place of the screening, time of the screening or reserved seats). The Customer is also responsible for the use of the Products, such as loss of the
Products, not using the Tickets within the validity period, allowing others to use the Products without the Customer’s consent, and for any illegal use of the Products.
- Personal data
For the processing and execution of the purchase, the BIFFF requires a series of personal data. The data collected during a purchase is processed and used in accordance with the BIFFF’s privacy statement, which the Client may consult on the Website and which forms an integral part of any agreement with the Client. The Customer is expected to know and accept this privacy statement. The BIFFF is responsible for the processing of personal data obtained during a purchase.
- Modification of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale
BIFFF reserves the right to amend these General Terms and Conditions at any time and without prior notice, in particular in order to adapt them to changes in the offered services or in legal and regulatory requirements. On the Website, the Customer will find the General Terms and Conditions of Sale that are applicable at the time of each purchase.
- Applicable legislation and competent courts
The relationship with the Client is governed by the law of the country in which the association and the festival are located. Insofar as this is authorized by the applicable legislation, only the courts of Brussels are competent to rule on disputes.
